Prices reflect areas where plot owner de-rocking and backfilling is required, and other areas that have already been de-rocked by the Genoa Cemetery Association. *De-rocking is not required if there are only cremation burials in the plot. Concrete curbing provided by the Genoa Cemetery Association is only guaranteed for 1 year.
- Cremation Plot - 2'x4' Plot Cost - $400, Curbing - $700, Total Price is $1,100
- Single Plot - 5'x10' Where de-rocking and backfill is the responsibility of the purchaser, the plot price is $700 plus the $2000 cost of curbing, or $2,700. If the plot has already been de-rocked by the Association, the plot cost is $850, curbing is $2,000 for a total of $2,850.
- Double Plot 10'x10' (2 burials) Where de-rocking and backfill is the responsibility of the purchaser, the plot price is $950 plus the $2,800 cost of curbing, or $3,750. If the plot has already been de-rocked by the Association, the plot cost is $1,250, curbing is $2,800 for a total of $4,050.
- 10'x20' Plot (5 burials) Where de-rocking and backfill is the responsibility of the purchaser, the plot price is $2,350 plus the $4,000 cost of curbing, or $6,350. If the plot has already been de-rocked by the Association, the plot cost is $2,950, curbing is $4,000 for a total of $6,950.
- 20'x20' Plot (10 burials) Where de-rocking and backfill is the responsibility of the purchaser, the plot price is $4,000 plus the $2,000 cost of curbing, or $10,000. If the plot has already been de-rocked by the Association, the plot cost is $5,200, curbing is $6,000 for a total of $11,200.
These prices are effective as of June 21, 2017. Purchase prices do not include the opening or closing of gravesites for burials. Mortuary companies will handle the opening or closing of gravesites or you can use a private contractor. Any private contractor must supply the Genoa Cemetery Association Secretary with proof of $100,000 liability insurance in advance of any work on the property of the cemetery and comply with all of the GCA(Genoa Cemetery Association) rules and regulations. Owners may use their own curbing contractor if they agree, in writing to the GCA Secretary to comply with the GCA curbing regulations and provide proof of $100.000 of liability insurance. All conditions of the purchase agreement are binding and one the above named measurements (exact dimensions) can be used for any plot. Prior to any contractor curbing the plot owner must have the approval and verification of the dimensions by one of the current board members in writing.
Each burial is required to be coordinated with the President or Secretary/Treasurer of the Board in advance. Each burial required a death certificate to be sent to the Genoa Cemetery Association P.O. Box 971, Genoa, NV 89411
